Carl-Axel Acking Pair of Trienna Lounge Chairs for Nordiska Kompaniet 1957

Pair of Trienna lounge chairs, designed by the Swedish architect Carl-Axel Acking in 1957. It was presented at the Milano Triennial in 1957 as part of the Swedish exhibit. In 1960 Nordiska Kompaniet started with the production of these chairs. The chairs have a solid wooden frame (most likely oak) and a natural saddle leather sling-seat. This is one of Carl-Axel Acking's best known and most sought after designs. The chairs are completely restored; the frames are refinished and upholstered in new leather. Therefore the chairs are in excellent condition.
