Secretary in elm veneer. Base with three drawers plus one in the moulding, topped with a drop-down door concealing a rosewood cabinet, with an open compartment and a set of six drawers and two secret compartments. Leather insert inside the drop-down, top drawer in the band under the top, black marble top. Oak interior, feet on a plinth. Northern France, second half of the 19th century.
