Monumental antique buffet in rosewood Regency with Italian marble.

We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare and important museum-quality Regency-style sideboard, made of rosewood and Italian marble, with monumental proportions. I have never seen another of this size before; it measures 1.92 metres high and 5.76 metres wide. Fortunately, it disassembles into several sections to facilitate transport and installation. The sideboard is made of rosewood with pure white Carrara marble tops. This piece appears expensive and significant in any setting and draws attention; it can also accommodate a complete personal library on top. The base cabinets are large, with three removable and/or height-adjustable shelves. I can have additional shelves made if the new owner wishes, at cost price. Regarding the condition, we have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; there will be signs of patina related to age and use here and there, probably a few small losses. This piece is not designed to look new and contemporary; it is meant to appear 200 years old, full of charm and charisma. Please note that all measurements are taken at their widest point. Please be aware that antique and period items, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear; we recommend annual waxing to prevent any moisture loss. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it may dry out and fade.
