Danish teak desk by Peter Løvig Nielsen for Hedensted Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1970s

Dimensions 74 cm X 155 cm X 70 cm (depth X width X height) This free standing midcentury danish writing desk was designed by peter løvig nielsen, produced by hedensted møbelfabrik denmark in 1977. The table is made of teak wood and features two sets of three drawers on each side and 2 storage compartments as well as a shelve on the tables back side. It shows some beautiful detailing, especially the tabletop's lip and the handles. The table comes with a key for the top drawers. Condition is beautiful, the table has been completely refinished and repaired and shows hardly any signs of usual wear and tear. There has been a crack in the back shelf that has been professionally stabilized. A light vault is still visible in the back corner of the shelf though. Screw holes in the back shelf have been professionally closed and retouched. Overall appearance presents beautifully.
