Sculptural tripod floor lamp in wrought iron, François Liguori
Vintage floor lamp in sculptural wrought iron signed Studio Pescatore, created by the French artist and designer François Liguori. Its slender silhouette combines a dark brown patinated wrought iron tripod base, made up of three elegantly crossing curved rods, with a large tapered conical lampshade, dressed in a textured paper covering with a golden beige trim. The contrast between the delicacy of the metal, the sinuous lines of the base, and the bold geometry of the lampshade gives this light fixture a unique, almost graphic presence. Once lit, it emits a warm amber light that particularly highlights the texture of the lampshade. About the designer: François Liguori is a French artist and creator based in Sète, Hérault since 1989. Through his workshop Studio Pescatore, he designs lighting and decorative objects in metal, in small series or custom-made, favouring sculptural forms and material work. The floor lamp is in very good overall condition and works perfectly. The base has a textured patina. The lampshade has a small, very discreet snag, visible in the detailed photographs. Foot switch.
