Beautiful solid cherry wood wardrobe from the late 18th to early 19th century. Opening with two moulded doors featuring a scalloped design. French work from the late 18th century or early 19th century, in the spirit of rustic provincial Louis XV productions. This wardrobe features an elegant overhanging cornice resting on a subtly shaped front. The doors, richly panelled, are adorned with beautiful openwork wrought iron fittings that add a lot of character to the whole. The top and bottom rails have a discreet carved decoration of stylised floral motifs. The interior, fully lined with parquet, offers a generous storage space with an antique shelf and the possibility of additional arrangements according to the desired use. The piece stands on curved feet connected by a scalloped crossbar. Very beautiful warm patina of the cherry wood with particularly decorative grain.
