Old Thonet bistro table with drop-leaves.

Superb antique bistro table in curved wood, Thonet model, from around 1920. Very practical, this extendable table features two small foldable extensions that allow it to be enlarged. Slides located under the top allow for the adjustment of the two side leaves. It has been fully refurbished and cleaned. The solid wood top is original. It has been sanded and then treated with colourless wax to restore its proud appearance and reveal the beauty of the wood. The very beautiful curved wooden base with its brass reinforcements showcases the craftsmanship of the Thonet company, famous for its bistro furniture. The legs have been brushed to restore the brass's shine. Well-made, it is perfectly stable, solid, and very sound. This authentic piece from the 1900s will be perfect for creating a Parisian bistro atmosphere in your home, on a terrace, or in a restaurant. Despite the utmost care taken in the renovation of this piece of furniture, there are still a few minor signs of use (small marks, slight wear...). All photos are taken in natural outdoor light.
