Elegant antique Louis XVI style daybed, made of carved solid wood, with a warm patina and timeless charm. The uprights are richly decorated with floral relief carvings, topped with small turned knobs, typical of late 19th century craftsmanship. The frame is upholstered in a striped and floral patterned fabric in powdery shades of pink, cream and green, enhanced with an aged brass studded braid. The seat, fitted with a box spring, is filled with a matching original (or antique) mattress which accentuates its romantic and authentic character.
