Art Deco Daybed 1925

Art Deco chaise longue, circa 1925. The natural wood frame is carved with lotus flowers and fluted detailing. Stud legs with gadrooned edges. The main cushion is missing; the fabric needs replacing, and the webbing needs to be redone. The woodwork is in good overall condition, but needs cleaning; the tenons need regluing. The chaise longue has been extended at a later date, a job carried out by a cabinetmaker according to traditional methods (not visible). Seat height: 50 cm.
