Antique Art Deco Liqueur Carafe / 1950 – Frosted Glass & Gilding – Original Numbered Stopper. Description: For sale, a magnificent antique liqueur carafe (ideal for port, liqueurs, digestifs) dating from the Art Deco period / 1950s. A piece of very fine craftsmanship. Features & Design: Elegant work combining frosted glass (frosted/matte satin finish) and superb horizontal bands gilded with fine gold. Very stable and elegant bulbous shape. Collector's Asset (Rare): The stopper and the carafe are unique and inseparable pieces. They both bear the same size number "36 n" hand-engraved with a diamond point (under the base of the carafe and at the foot of the stopper). This guarantees that the stopper is the original one, perfectly fitted and airtight to the grind.
