Large brass coat hook, circa 1900

A superb brass entryway coat rack dating from the early 20th century, typical of the elegance of Belle Époque interiors. It features an architectural structure with a central beveled mirror, a barred upper shelf, a small drawer with a brass knob, and a lower compartment for umbrellas or walking sticks. The side supports are adorned with numerous finely molded, curved hooks for hanging coats, hats, or accessories. Combining refinement and functionality, this period piece boasts a beautiful, warm patina and authentic charm. Perfect for an entryway or vestibule of a period home, or for adding a touch of retro chic to a contemporary interior. Two brackets for wall mounting are included. There are traces of mercury in the mirror and some marks on the brass, but overall it is in good condition.
