Exceptional and imposing hall wardrobe in hammered wrought iron with a medal patina and gold highlights, Art Deco style work, circa 1930-1940. The structure consists of a wide rectangular frame with architecturally geometric decoration, featuring: At the top: A slatted hat shelf. In the central part: A large mercury mirror (or bevelled depending on condition) framed by wide uprights with a decoration of elongated diamonds and chevron patterns. Accessories: Six wrought iron double-hook coat hooks symmetrically distributed. At the bottom: Two side umbrella stands with their original receptacles and a central magazine rack (or planter) in hammered sheet metal. The ironwork is distinguished by a vigorous and regular strike, typical of artistic wrought iron from the first half of the 20th century (in the style of Raymond Subes or Edgar Brandt). Dimensions: Height: 209 cm. Width: 102.5 cm. Depth: 16.5 cm. Condition: Overall good condition. Original patina showing some superficial oxidation points and wear to the gilding that confer authenticity to the piece. Mirror in good condition (small usage pitting).
