Unlike industrial productions, this vase employs a sommerso technique through the accumulation of successive parisons. The glassmaker uses controlled "pours": a mass of colourless glass serves as the supporting structure, into which a layer of deep ruby red glass is integrated. The prismatic geometry is achieved through manual work with a mould and tongs, which stretch and fold the material upon itself. This technical gesture creates visible overlaps at the junctions of the edges, offering a unique optical depth. The final contrast is striking: the flat surfaces are polished with surgical precision, while the vertical edges are intentionally left raw or textured, evoking frosted glass that catches the light from every angle.
