Polychrome French earthenware planter – Floral and butterfly decoration

Elegant French earthenware planter, hand-decorated with flowers, foliage and butterflies in bright, vivid colors. The handles and reliefs richly highlighted in yellow and blue give it a refined style, typical of early 20th-century earthenware production. On the reverse, the numbered mark 1503 / 39 - France attests to its French manufacture, probably from the Desvres or Saint-Clément factories in the 1930s-1950s.
