Nice painting, vintage reproduction. Based on an original drawing by john gould, famous 19th century ornithologist and naturalist illustrator (1804 † 81) It represents a tropical bird 'aracari' (pteroglossus hypoglaucus) characterized by its beautiful colorful plumage and long tail. It is represented on a branch, in a natural environment. Black and gold wooden frame with some small discreet defects, marks of time. Width 21cm, height 27cm. Depth 2, 5cm, weight 500g.
