Floor Lamp Gaetano – Scultura 99 by Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio di Desio

Extraordinary and exceptionally rare floor lamp model "Gaetano", designed and produced by Luciano Frigerio for the Frigerio di Desio workshop in the late 1960s. This lamp is extremely rare as it belongs to Luciano Frigerio’s celebrated "Scultura 99" collection, a series of sculptural works conceived as true works of art and produced in a strictly limited edition of a maximum of 99 numbered pieces. The floor lamp is crafted from solid brass sculptural elements of considerable weight and striking form, expressing Frigerio’s vision of furniture as sculpture. The piece is signed by the artist and is preserved in excellent overall condition, with only minimal signs of age consistent with its period. The lamp is sold with the original authentication certificate issued by the Frigerio heirs and will be delivered without the lampshade shown in the photographs.
