Harpist's Chair

Rare and full of charm, this Restoration period harpist chair catches the eye with its sculptural design and beautiful finishes. Made of solid mahogany and mahogany veneer, it is highlighted by light strings and a curved backrest with scalloped decoration. Its central leg with canted sides rests on three sculpted feet. The seat swivels and raises/lowers thanks to its original screw – a detail as aesthetic as it is practical. Covered in a gold embossed velvet in very good condition, it is stable, solid, and ideal as an accent piece around a desk, a piano or as decoration in a characterful interior. A true vintage favorite, both elegant and unique.
