Evolving school desk

Evolving school desk from the 1940s, made of solid beech. The attached chair is height-adjustable (4 levels), as is the footrest, which raises the writing surface when moved (3 notches). This ingenious piece of furniture grows with the child. The desk lifts to reveal a storage compartment. There is a designated space for storing pencils and another for a porcelain inkwell. It is topped with a removable book holder. This decorative and practical piece of furniture is in very good condition.
