Vintage Marko Holland Spinstoel 102 – Marron Edition, 1960s

Hard to find and instantly recognisable — the Marko S102 is one of those chairs that makes a statement from every angle. Designed by Ynske Kooistra and produced by Eromes Marko between 1950 and 1974, the S102 is commonly known as the “Spinstoel” or "Passer chair”. Its distinctive inverted V-shaped frame gives the chair its characteristic architectural silhouette, with clear links to the functional Dutch design language of the period and echoes of Prouvé. The seat and backrest are made from durable Pagholz. Our examples come in various shades of brown, giving each chair its own subtle character. With a 47 cm seat height, this is the full adult-size version. An increasingly hard-to-find Dutch design classic and one of our absolute favourites.
