Five-panel golden metal fireplace screen from the 19th century.

Beautiful fire screen from the late 19th century in gilded metal. Light and manageable, it is nevertheless very stable. Rare with 5 panels. The gilding appears recent and resembles the bright hue of brass; it is slightly nuanced, with some darker marks visible and roughness on the metal. The mesh shows some signs of oxidation (no perforation). Overall good condition considering its age and use.
