This eye-catching chair, model “loop”, is designed by sophie de vocht from the netherlands and manufactured by casamania in italy in 2011. A unique design that combines the comfort of a chaise lounge with a thick, deep pile rug. The technique used for this effect is called tufting: tufts of yarn are needled into a fabric base. The backrest has a more fine structure, but the tufts get bigger and loser towards the leg ends where several shades of green are combined to create a multidimensional effect and a very inviting appearence! Yes, this seat is as comfortable as it looks. The chair was shown at the milan design week in 2011. It remains in very good, vintage condition with a beautiful patina.
