Clay Female Torso on Stone Base by Ch. Ferket, Belgium, 20th Century

A sculpted clay female torso by the Belgian artist Ch. Ferket, made in the 20th century. The torso has a warm orange-red colour and a slightly rough, sandy surface, and stands on a stone base with a plaque bearing the name "Ch. Ferket". The simplified, modernist forms give the sculpture a calm and timeless presence. A beautiful decorative object for a sideboard, a bookcase or a console, which works well in both classic and contemporary interiors. Condition: good, with normal signs of age.
