Murano bowl / Ashtray Sommerso Technique

This beautiful murano bowl or ashtray was made in the 70s and uses the sommerso technique. The deep red glass is combined with transparent glass, with real gold being used to enhance the color. The glass is baked twice to create this unique shade. A beautiful decorative object.
