Modernist Metal, Opal Wall Ceiling Flushmount Light, Italy 1950s

Article: Extra large light with opal glass shades. Useable as wall or ceiling light. Origin: Italy. Age: 1950s. Original 1950s modernist italian lights made of solid metal in original beige lacquer tone and huge opal glass element in the middle surrounded by nice brass applications on the middle and outside ring. The light has two e27 light socket for bulbs, the bulb is covered by opal shades what creates a nice indirect light atmosphere. The shade is fixed on the wall element with a fantastic brass element the origin of these light is italy, and remembers in the style and design of stilnovo and gio ponti. The light has an extraordinary size of 47cm in diameter. Very rare and highly collectible item, which is a nice addition to every modern home. Dimension: diameter 47cm. Depth 12cm. Condition: Good vintage condition, some normal traces of use, full working (newly wired). Due to the age the original metal plate and wall fixation do have a patina, some little stains and scratches on the glass element.
