Pair of metal and black leather armchairs "Arconda" by Paolo Piva for B&B Italia, Italy design 1980

Set of 2 post-modern 'arconda' chairs from the arcadia series in 1985, designed by paolo piva, italy. Paolo piva is one of the most eminent italian architect-designers of the late 20th century. Piva has collaborated with several well-known manufacturers including de sede and thonet. The legs, seat and back are covered in premium quality soft italian leather, black. The backrests are connected to the base by enameled chrome steel tubes, on a suspension system which offers great comfort. The manufacturer's mark is visible on the underside of the seat. The general condition of the chairs is good. A few small, minor tears on the lower part of the feet but that doesn't detract from their beauty. Additional information seat height: 47cm.
