Wooden table (dark oak veneer with protective varnish) and compass feet (metal footing) Design Jean Prouvé, Vitra 2002 edition In the early 1950s, Jean Prouvé designed the EM table for the "Tropical House" project. This table imbued with constructive thinking down to the smallest detail is based on an aesthetic of necessity. The slanted feet are connected by a crossbar, illustrating the propagation of forces and static ratios in the manner of engineering constructions. A few scratches on the tray but the table remains in very good condition Dimensions: 251cm long 90.5cm wide 72cm high
