This desk was designed by Gunnar Nielsen Tibergaard and manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. The piece represents the characteristic qualities of Danish Mid-Century Modern design, combining a clean, elegant form with functionality and high-quality craftsmanship. The desk is crafted from teak wood. It features four spacious drawers, arranged symmetrically with two on each side. At the front, there are practical open storage compartments and a bar compartment. Distinctive features of the design include the wide, sculpted wooden handles and slender legs, which give the piece a sense of visual lightness. The desk has undergone comprehensive professional woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating, stained in an oak colour, and finished with a durable high-quality semi-matt lacquer, which protects the surface while enhancing the natural grain of the teak. The desk is fitted with locks and comes with one key.
