Set of 4 antique Longwy starter or dessert plates.

Set of four antique plates from the Longwy factory, in entrée or dessert size, with an elegant octagonal shape. Very pretty polychrome floral decoration in shades of blue, green, and ochre, surrounded by a deep blue border. Marking "Vieux Longwy – Longwy" on the reverse. Period: early 20th century, probably the 1920s. Overall good condition considering their age. The plates have retained beautiful colours and show a lovely patina. Some signs of age and use are present on the pieces: fine utensil marks, small pitting, and slight surface irregularities. The set remains very well preserved for its age. The photos allow for a precise appreciation of the condition of each plate.
