Set of 6 antique octagonal plates Longwy – Old Longwy

Set of 6 antique Longwy faience plates, with a lovely octagonal shape. Polychrome floral decoration in shades of blue, green, and ochre, highlighted with a blue rim. An original and very decorative shape, less common than classic round plates. Marked "Vieux Longwy – Longwy" on the reverse. Condition: good used condition considering their age, they likely date from the 1920s / early 20th century. The plates show some signs of wear and use: fine scratches/knife marks, small pitting, and slight surface variations depending on the piece. Some have slight chips on the reverse edge, very discreet and not visible when the plates are laid down. The condition is therefore not uniform from one plate to another, and the numerous photos allow for a good appreciation of the condition of each piece. Sold as a set of 6.
