Metal coat rack with wooden balls and scoubidou from the 1960s.

This superb vintage black metal coat rack perfectly embodies the joyful and graphic Mid-Century aesthetic. Its slender structure with curved lines evokes post-war modernist design while maintaining a great visual lightness. The hooks are adorned with colourful wooden balls in red, green, and yellow, adding a playful and warm touch that harmoniously contrasts with the black metal. In the centre, an integrated vertical mirror adds both functionality and elegance, perfect for a last check before heading out. At the bottom, a cleverly integrated umbrella stand, enhanced with colourful scoubidou strands, reinforces the decorative character while remaining practical for everyday use. A zinc tray is included to collect rainwater. Bags or hats can also be placed on top of the coat rack. This coat rack is in very good condition. There are only very discreet signs of use.
