Aqua Cil floor lamp by Ross Lovegrove for Artemide, Italy

Vintage design. An imposing floor lamp from the Italian manufacturer Artemide, based on a project by Ross Lovegrove from 2007. The floor lamp from the Aqua Cil series features a filigree design with a special materiality. The slender pole leads to a square base with a soft radius at the bottom. The umbrella is held in position by a clamping system. The cylindrical umbrella is a signature detail of this series of luminaires, featuring an asymmetrical wavy structure and made of highly polished aluminium. The reflective surface mirrors the surroundings and breaks up the shape of the shade. Additionally, the lamp includes a touch dimmer that responds to touch on the body of the luminaire. This lamp is no longer in production and is now rarely found.
