Designed by visionary Italian architect and designer Toni Cordero for Artemide in the 1980s, this sculptural floor lamp is an extraordinary example of Italian Postmodern lighting design. The piece features a crown of handcrafted, deep cobalt-blue glass strips suspended around a sculpted polymer shade that diffuses light. Supported by a slender metallic stem and anchored by a raw-textured cast base, this lamp strikes a balance between industrial minimalism and artistic craftsmanship. The base retains its original brass manufacturer plaque stamped "Artemide MILANO TORINO", guaranteeing its authentic provenance. Equipped with an integrated foot switch and dimmer, it creates atmospheric, adjustable lighting for modern or eclectic interiors. Condition & Restoration All original blue glass strips are complete, secure, and free of chips or cracks. The inner polymer shade remains in excellent, clean condition without cracks or heat deformation. Original wiring fully inspected and tested. The floor pedal with integrated dimmer switch functions smoothly to regulate light intensity. The metallic stem and textured base are in excellent vintage condition with an attractive natural patina. The original metal manufacturer emblem remains firmly attached at the base.
