Small vintage bench or stool, characteristic of design from the 1950s to 1970s. Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian design with a strong influence from the Brutalist movement or holiday home-style furniture that was very popular at the time. The legs are made of solid pine, identifiable by its pronounced grain and knots. The top is adorned with a mosaic of small coloured stoneware or ceramic tiles. The legs consist of two wide supports with a central rectangular cut-out, giving it an architectural and robust appearance. This type of piece recalls the creations of designers like Roger Capron, although their tops are generally more sophisticated. Ideal for a chic vintage decor. Uses: side table, plant stand, bedside table, low console, small garden coffee table. Option for stripping available for an additional €60. Width 54, depth 34, height 39.
