Important Baguès wall light in gilded wrought iron

Rare and imposing wall lamp from Baguès with 5 lights, in gilded wrought iron and cut molded crystal. Decorated with acanthus leaves in gold and brown lacquered sheet metal topped with an acorn. Circa 1960. The 2 large bulb covers at the top are in orange lacquered wood with half-moon lampshades in original cream and red fabric (they have been cleaned but still show very tiny traces of time). Crystal bobeches for the 3 lower arms of light. Rear attachment. Original electricity that works. Sold without bulbs. Very good state. Since its creation in 1860, the Baguès house in Paris has been an emblem of French sophistication in the design of luxury lighting. Each piece manufactured by the company is assembled by hand in a unique, artisanal way.
