Vallauris ceramic ashtray

Charming vintage ashtray in glazed earthenware, hand-decorated with a stylised fish and foliage, in Mediterranean colours: aquamarine, turquoise, deep blue, yellow, and touches of red. This piece evokes the ceramics of the Côte d'Azur from the 1950s to 1970s, in the spirit of the workshops of Vallauris, with an inscription "Monaco" incised under the base, typical of the artisanal productions of the time.
