Large antique crackled ceramic fondue pot decorated with blue flowers

A large, antique ceramic fondue pot with a low, generous shape, featuring a long, characterful handle and a delicately crafted spout. Its slightly pinkish ivory glaze is entirely enlivened by a fine, uniform crackle finish, giving the piece an authentic and deeply decorative patina. The hand-painted decoration alternates between large, deep blue flowers with orange centers and stylized dark green foliage, in a simple and graphic floral style typical of mid-20th-century artisanal production. The interior, also delicately crackled, reveals a beautiful depth of texture. This fondue pot is unstamped, but its shape, decoration, and glaze suggest French artisanal or semi-artisanal production from the 1950s–1970s. A piece as beautiful in use as it is as a decorative object in the kitchen or on a large, convivial table. Beautiful vintage condition, with a regular, aged crackle finish, slight signs of wear on the base and interior, and five very small enamel flaws inside (see photos).
