Authentic traditional Indian devotional coffee table, called "Bajot" (or Chowki), originating from the Rajasthan region (North India). A unique piece of folk art, ideal today as a decorative antique furniture. Features and high-quality craftsmanship: Period: Late 19th century - Early 20th century (circa 1890-1930) Dimensions: Rare and sought-after square format 52 * 52 cm. Type of wood: Precious teak wood known for its longevity and warm grain. Exceptional craftsmanship: Unlike modern reproductions or reassembled pieces, the four parts of this table are carved from a single block. This demanding traditional technique provides the furniture with absolute sturdiness. Condition and patina: Superb original conservation state, "in its juice". Very beautiful wood patina with its marks of time that add to its charm. The brass has natural oxidation, a testament to its authenticity. The underside is entirely original. A rare piece of cabinetry of perfect quality to bring a historical touch to a contemporary interior.
