Fire screen fireplace screen 4 leaves

Charming old fire screen made up of 4 hinged mesh leaves. It is made of gilded metal (brass or bronze, presence of blue corrosion). The shape of the leaves is pretty with this molded frame and its two handles for two of them. It is to be adopted as is if you like the patina and the marks of time or to have restored by a craftsman. It must date from the first half of the 20th century. It is in good structural condition, very solid, the parts are very mobile in relation to each other, but obviously it does not hide its age: largely patinated metal with the presence of blue and white corrosion (and a little rust on the small iron parts which link the parts to each other at the top and bottom) and stains; the mesh, largely deformed, is pierced with a hole on two leaves and detaches from the frame at the top of one leaf. Each leaf measures 50 cm in height (51.5 cm for the two leaves with handles), 30 cm in width. Fully extended, this firewall measures 124 cm in length.
