Vintage large ceramic ashtray from Italy, attributed to Bitossi Ceramiche, dating from the 1950s–1960s. A decorative piece of considerable size, typical of mid-20th century Italian production, created under the artistic direction of Aldo Londi (unsigned). Turquoise/deep blue glaze with relief decoration and gold highlights, very decorative. It can also be used as a catch-all or decorative object. Dimensions: • Diameter: 25 cm. • Height: approx. 5.5 cm. Marking: Painted number under the base (visible in photos), consistent with Bitossi productions of the time. Condition: Very good overall condition considering its age. To note transparently: • a small chip under the base (not visible once placed) • a slight chip on the upper edge.
