Circular ashtray with three notches for cigarette rests, decorated in cobalt blue on a white background with a stylised geometric pattern hand-painted, characteristic of the so-called "Saint-Jean-de-Bretagne" decor, inspired by traditional Breton earthenware reinterpreted in the post-war years. The underside bears a handwritten inscription as well as a marking "Saint Jean de Bretagne – Décor Main". This model is part of the production of regional French earthenware from the 20th century, combining decorative tradition and utilitarian forms. Diameter: 13.5 cm. Height: approximately 4 cm. Excellent overall condition. Well-preserved shiny glaze.
