Beautiful clay vase with an enameled decoration recognizable among all, with its brightly colored flowers, enhanced with gold on a black background and its turquoise colored handles (like the interior of the vase). This is a vase created (signed under the base, hand-carved in the material) by Cerart Monaco, a Monegasque pottery based in Vallauris and founded in 1946 by the Italian artist Gino Boccasile. This model dates from the 1950s, probably from 1958 precisely, because I found traces of a vase of the same model where the buyer I imagine had noted the year of acquisition, underneath. These vases, even if they are of the same model, are always a little different in the decoration since they were all made by hand in a unique way, each one is the result of beautiful craftsmanship. It is in good general condition, no cracks, no repairs but the gilding is a little faded in places on the handles and it has 3 small chips or chips on the rim of the vase and one under the base, to adopt as is (if it is exposed a little high, the small defects will not be visible) and why not give it a little restoration by a professional, this vase would deserve it! It measures 20 cm in height, 20 cm in width from one handle to the other and 15 cm in maximum diameter at the level of the belly.
