Old photograph from 1900 of two coachmen of the Western Railways by A. Rebut in Paris.

Beautiful and very old photograph depicting two coachmen in attire in front of a stagecoach, taken by the photographer A. Rebut, Rue Turgot in Paris. Unfortunately, I have no other information about this photo, except that it was part of a collection of about fifteen old photos representing various scenes with the common theme of one or more horses (if you have any information, I would be grateful!). Some indications on other photos, notably "Western Railway" (of which the beginning of the marking on the vehicle can be distinguished here) and the font used for the photographer's stamp suggest that it dates from between the late 1800s and the early 1900s. It is framed in a soft, embossed cardboard with a lovely relief. This photo is in fair condition, with no major stains, but it obviously shows its age of over a hundred years and therefore has numerous small blemishes. The cardboard frame measures 26.5 cm by 21 cm, allowing the photo to be seen through an opening of 15.5 cm by 11 cm. It will be sent well protected against creases as well as moisture.
