'Vermelha' chair, designed by Fernando & Humberto Campana in 1993. In 1998 Edra started the production of this chair. The chair embodies a simple and brilliant design, with forms embracing a great technical expertise and an in-depth study of materials. With just two elements, the unique chair comes to life: a structure in steel and 500 meters of woven cotton rope, requiring a high degree of mastery and a week’s worth of work for expert artisans. The duo’s unique style is distinguished by a disruptive language translating their out-of-the-box thinking into concrete objects forever true to their Brazilian identity. At the center of their reflections lie materials, colors, and a great sense of freedom, giving life to poetic objects capable of recounting an imaginary of stories both familiar and exotic.
