Accolay – glazed earthenware plate with abstract Cépamine decoration – 1970s

Decorative plate signed Accolay, made around 1970. Cream earthenware with an abstract central decoration in Cépamine, an artistic resin colored and patented by the workshop. A rare collector's item, representative of the creativity of the Accolay potters during this period. The bas-relief decoration, inspired by organics, presents a palette of blues, greens, ochres and browns, enhanced with white lines. The reverse is hand-signed "Accolay" with the cross coat of arms. Very good condition.
