Ornate Floral Pedestal Champagne Cooler, brass ice bucket

A beautiful and unusual vintage ice bucket made in brass, with areas finished in polished inox for a striking contrast between warm antique gold and bright silver. The generous coupe-shaped bowl is richly decorated with finely embossed scrolling foliage, flowers and fruit, repeated across the body, stem and wide shaped foot. Raised on an elegant pedestal, it has a wonderfully decorative presence and feels made for old-fashioned entertaining — perfect for chilling a champagne or wine bottle, or displayed as a statement piece on a bar or dining table. The combination of ornate decoration, substantial weight and contrasting metals makes this a particularly eye-catching piece of vintage barware. It is in lovely vintage condition with light signs of use.
