Very beautiful and rare designer hanging lamps by erik møller for louis poulsen 1980s. Erik møller designed the warehouse lamp in 1984 for the ministry of foreign affairs in copenhagen. The building is an old warehouse called eigtveds pakhus, which dates back to the 18th century. Like so many other buildings from this century, this building consists of many rooms with low ceilings. The architects saw a need for a small pendant with a warm, glowing light to fit into this environment. Extruded steel. 16 cm in height and 11 cm in diameter. White, powder-coated surface and porcelain socket. Some signs of use and light wear, one lamp's plastic relief is cracked (costs about 4 dollars online if you want to replace it). All three have a very short cord. The price is for the trio = all three lamps. One bulb is included per lamp (they have a standard e26/e27 porcelain socket) Packed securely and shipped with insurance.
