A very pretty antique stoneware fondue pot, signed Grès des Capucins – Salins-les-Bains, an iconic artisanal product of the Jura region. Here we find the authentic charm of Salins stoneware: a hand-thrown piece with a slightly speckled satin glaze, enhanced by a rim highlighted in a beautiful terracotta orange, particularly decorative. The ringed shape, a signature of hand-thrown pieces, is characteristic of Salins stoneware, with its delicately modeled spout and perfectly ergonomic teardrop handle. The handwritten stamp, "Grès des Capucins Salins France, " dates the piece to the 1930s-1950s, a time when the Salins workshop still produced its utilitarian forms by hand, using a clay with natural hues that has since disappeared. Dimensions: Ø 17 cm (without the handle) – height 6 cm. Excellent vintage condition, no chips, luminous glaze. A room that fits perfectly into the warm minimalism decorative trend and authentic kitchen.
