Magnificent ceramic piece from Vallauris, signed by the artist Raymonde Le Duc. This rare item is distinguished by its trilobate shape (like a three-leaf clover). A UNIQUE KNOW-HOW: The decoration is a true artisan feat. Raymonde Le Duc used a singular technique of applying real plants and fresh leaves directly onto the wet clay to capture their true imprint. She would then paint the details in autumnal tones (ochre, water green, and a touch of lavender), making each piece absolutely unique. The modernist design and the technique used likely place this vase in the production of the 1960s, the golden age of Vallauris. FEATURES: Artist: Raymonde Le Duc (incised signature at the tip under the base). Dimensions: Significant height of 29 cm | Width 12 cm (from tip to tip) | 10 cm at the hollow of the clover. Appearance: Satin matte finish, botanical decoration of great finesse. CONDITION: Very good overall condition. Note: a small chip on the edge of the base. This minor flaw is located on the pedestal and remains very discreet once the vase is displayed, in no way detracting from the beauty or stability of this collectible piece.
