Vintage Murano blown glass soliflore vase 50-60 Filigrana/Zanfirico

Elegant soliflore vase made of blown Murano glass, handcrafted Venetian work from the 1950s-60s. Decor known as Filigrana or Zanfirico, red and colourless inserted into the mass. Bubble body with a long, slightly flared narrow neck, scalloped rim, highlighted by two twisted handles shaped like snakes wrapped around the neck, applied hot. The body is decorated at its base with 5 red stems, a fine tall foot decorated with 2 wrapped red stems, on a flat round base. Inspired by the "vetri a serpenti" style of the 16th century. Height 29 cm, approximately 8 cm maximum diameter, 9 cm width at the handles. In new condition, no cracks or chips, small discreet surface scratches on the top of the body (approximately 2 cm). Weighs around 200 g.
