Art Deco soup tureen, made by the renowned Victoria China factory in Czechoslovakia. This piece, made around 1918/1939, is now discontinued, making it a valuable collector's item. It is made of fine white porcelain from the Karlovy Vary region. Victoria China porcelain is distinguished by its finesse, brilliant whiteness, and strength. The pieces are often thin and lightweight, demonstrating expert craftsmanship. This soup tureen is a fine example of the Art Deco period. Its clean design, multi-sided shape, and glossy white color feature a silver coating on the handles, top knob, and decorative motif. It rests on a carved base typical of the period. The piece is in very good overall original and vintage condition, with light marks and signs of use, as well as a patina due to age. The edges of both handles show slight discoloration/faded silver color (see photos). No cracks or chips. Interior dimensions: W; 24 cm D; 17 cm H; 10 cm. Manufacturer's mark and serial number. All photos were taken in natural light, indoors. Colors may vary depending on lighting, angle, and perspective.
